The key to successful birthday freebies is to look at the expiration date! Some are only valid on your birthday, some the month, some the week before, and some the week after.

MAKE SURE YOU SIGN UP WELL BEFORE YOUR BIRTHDAY MONTH. Many  companies have anniversary coupons for when you signed up. I didn't know this and signed up the week before. It is hard to squeeze in everything before they expire!
